Used to countersink and counterbore for the heads of screws in woods, plastics, and non-ferrous materials. Heat-treated for long tool life. High Speed Steel Countersinks are designed to only sink the head of the screw flush with the surface, not to sink it deeper for plugging. The High Speed Steel countersink is designed with shorter blades to reduce breakage. Made to cut into hard woods and metals. The wood countersinks have a sharper relief to allow for better clearance of chips. Available with an included angle of 60, 82, 90, 100, 120 degree. Designed for extended tool life in abrasive materials like FIBERGLASS. WL Fuller, Inc. has manufactured the highest-quality High Speed Steel Countersinks for over 60 years. Excellent for the Marine Industry. The wood countersinks have a “W” at the end of the item code. If there is no “W” then they are for metal. Countersink sets are listed at the bottom. Countersink set WF10890001 includes H5S, H6S, H7S, H8S, H9S, H10S, and H12S. Countersink set WF10890002 includes H102S, H12S, H14S, H143S, H16S, H169S, and H18S.
